Students learn theory and to perform clinical laboratory procedures in phlebotomy, microbiology, blood banking, clinical pathology, hematology, immunology and serology. They also learn to operate and maintain basic clinical laboratory equipment. Medical Laboratory Technologist performs a large variety of laboratory tests and procedures that assist physicians in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease.
