B.S Cardialogy Technology

The Cardiology Technology program will provide graduates with the theoretical knowledge and clinical application of electrocardiography, ambulatory monitoring, cardiac pathology, pharmacology, physiology, patient care, and human behavior. Graduates will leave with the skills to conduct the required non-invasive diagnostic cardiology procedures in electrocardiograms, ambulatory monitoring, exercise stress testing, and other advanced diagnostic procedures related to the job. Graduates of the program will be able to:

  • interact with patients, their families, and clinical staff in a professional manner.
  • communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in the clinical environment.
  • maintain a safe environment for self, co-workers, patients, and their families.
  • demonstrate competency in all required diagnostic cardiac procedures and knowledge areas, as outlined by the CSCT national profile including Cardiac Procedures, Patient Care, Patient Care and Foundational Knowledge.
  • understand related concepts in technology and information management and Endorse the concept of continual learning through their careers.
